Vernon Township Playing Games In Effort To Protect PAC

The Skylands Victory PAC, or “Penis Club” is at the center of several Open Public Records Act requests that have been sent to the Vernon Township administration.  According to several people with knowledge of the requests, the township, through their attorney (a member of the PAC) continues to deny access to the records sought.

Sources in Vernon are disgusted by what they see as an effort to protect cronies at the expense of taxpayers.  They claim that the township is prepared to use taxpayer dollars to defend the OPRA denials in court if neccessary.  This should outrage all Vernon Taxpayers.

What is the Vernon Township Administration hiding?

Why is the Vernon Township Administration so afraid of transparency?

How badly are Vernon Township Taxpayers being screwed?

Stay tuned.

Any NJ resident can OPRA the OPRA requests to Vernon Township and find out exactly what this is all about. The town clerk has them and must keep them available by law.
